After graduating from UNLV with a bachelors in civil engineering, Sam Lytle started his career as a rotating engineer with the Nevada Department of Transportation. It was during his time with NDOT that Sam fell in love with 3D visualization and in 2014 he started Civil FX- a firm specializing in 3D visualization for infrastructure projects. In the years since, Sam has built a team of skilled and passionate individuals that have been able to work on some of the biggest and most interesting projects in Nevada and throughout the United States. Civil FX has been especially effective in real-time visualization of major transportation projects, changing the public outreach approach of NDOT and pushing the technology in the industry. Civil FX is now working to create a stand-alone application that will help other designers and civil engineers visualize their own projects and hopefully improve visualization for the civil and infrastructure industry. Sam lives in the Las Vegas area with his wife and 4 kids and enjoys strength training, basketball and church service.
