Paul Bonington is a transformational executive leader and innovator who has been successfully building and growing businesses and brands in the B-to-B information, technology and media industries for the past 25 years. He is a known voice and leader in the AEC industry having served for more than 12 years as group vice president at McGraw Hill, where he published and led the business, growth and transformation strategies for its media group — including the iconic brands ENR and Architectural Record. As a strong advocate of how technology will play a pivotal role in changing the way the AEC industry works, Paul launched the AEC FutureTech conference series. Prior to McGraw Hill Paul was CMO for Globix Corporation, a start-up internet services provider that constructed more than 400,000 square feet of secure, fault-tolerant data center space in the New York, California, and London UK to serve the growing needs of the internet and e-commerce marketplace. Prior to Globix, and seeing the transformational power of the internet revolution coming, Paul joined start-up publisher and trade show producer Mecklermedia where as senior vice president and group publisher he launched Internet World, internet.com, Web Week, Internet Shopper and Web Developer brands. He is currently managing director of Digital Prism Advisors, a management consultancy that helps companies and industry associations discover their business transformation opportunities and thrive in today's digital economy.
