With over 10 years of architecture experience, Meghana has worked on diverse multifamily projects such as affordable housing, luxury senior housing and attainable rental apartments throughout California. Meghana also has extensive experience in Commercial projects with primary focus on Retail Franchise.
She is enroute NCARB Licensure, and proficient in AutoCAD and Revit as well as hand sketching. Her area of expertise are Construction Administration, and Construction Documents (Building Codes/ Building Systems/ Building Assemblies & Means and Methods)
Meghana is the Founder and Chair of the Women in Architecture Committee for AIA Orange County, member of the Communications Committee for AIA Orange County as well AIA California Council, and she peer reviews conference submission for AIA National Convention. She is actively involved in helping women in architecture by being a part of initiatives like Equity by Design, and Girl Uninterrupted. Recently, Meghana joined AIA Orange County Board of Directors for a two year term, beginning January 2019.
Meghana strongly believes that it is up to the architects to share “what an architect does” and educate them about our contributions to the world. Meghana works as an Associate for Multifamily Housing Department at William Hezmalhalch Architects in Santa Ana, CA. Her previous relevant work experience includes projects with companies like AECOM, Bechtel and IA-SV.
