Craig Wingfield is a registered Architect in the State of Texas. For over 35 years, he has held lead positions managing the design, production, and construction administration efforts on architecture and interiors projects including advanced technology, high-rise office, high-rise condominium, higher education, and other types of facilities. Over the course of his career, Craig has played an integral role in developing standards for manual drafting, CADD, and BIM in both the private and public sectors and has been producing work in Revit for the last 12 years.
After nearly 25 years in the private sector, Craig joined the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) in 2008 where he has led an in-house design-build team for the last 10 years. As TFC’s Director of Planning & Alterations, Craig is responsible for developing and maintaining TFC’s BIM Standards and oversees programs for long range planning, space management, and interior remodeling design-build services.
TFC serves over 100 client agencies and owns or manages approximately 200 buildings and 16 million square feet of office, warehouse, educational, and parking facilities in Austin and throughout the State of Texas. Another 1.5 million square feet of Capitol Complex office space is currently under construction in Austin and is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2022. An additional 800 thousand square feet of new office space for the Capitol Complex has been funded and is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2025.
